There are a number of things that you need to think about when considering a professional fireworks display. Because we are taking professional liability for our work we have certain requirements that are non negotiable. These are listed below. We are always happy to discuss our requirements in detail with you. We can also offer advice based upon the hundreds of displays that we have performed.

As a general rule our professional displays require more safety room than our DIY packs. We also book up on Saturday nights very quickly. You may find that our DIY range better suits you you can find out more in our Do-it-Yourself Displays section.

We are very proud of our Professional Displays and are often complemented on our professionalism. So you can rest assured that if you meet our basic requirements that you will get a totally professional service from start to finish

Firework displays must now finish by 11pm (with the exception of New Years Eve).

We conduct a site visit and produce a Health & Safety report for every single display that we do.

TOP 3 REQUIREMENTS.

  1. Make sure you have the land owners permission. This may be the hotel, local farmer or local authority.
  2. Do you have the room (see diagram below).
  3. We need to know the proposed date and venue before we can quote.

TOP 3 THINGS TO AVOID.

  1. Land that is owned by local authorities requires permission that may be difficult to obtain. Try and find a site that is privately owned.
  2. Avoid late firing times. We won't fire after 11pm.
  3. Avoid firing sites other than 'green field' sites. For example roof-tops, barges, stadiums - we can work in all of these locations but our charges are higher.

Do you have the room?

The above diagram is a guide line to sorts of distances we require in order to fire a professional display. Below we detail some of the things that should not be in the various zones. Please note that all sites vary and this diagram is for guidance only. Please call us for further advice.

Firing Site.
Preferably a level grass field site. No dry or cut grass as this represents a fire hazard.

25M Safety Zone.
This area is required around us at all times even when we set-up and pack-up the site. No unauthorised persons allowed in this area. No buildings or vehicles and preferably little or no bushes or trees.

50M Safety Zone.
This area is required around the firing site when firing. No persons, animals, vehicles or buildings should be in this area. It is the organisers responsibility to make sure that the safety zones are kept free of spectators. We have no authority to evict people from the site all we can do if the safety zone is invaded is stop the display and make it safe.

Fall-out Zone.
This area will depend on the wind but it is the area where hot and cold fall-out may land. It therefore should be free from fire hazards and vehicles. After the display we will clear the 25M zone of kit and significant debris but we are unable to collect any debris in the other areas.
