Just before Christmas Sonic Fireworks was commissioned to provide a firework finale to a Marriage proposal. Our client wanted a large red heart in fireworks and a spectacular display after he popped the question on the balcony of their exclusive apartment at Burgh Island, South Devon.
The display was to be remote started by him from a wireless controller we gave him. Of course, assuming she said yes.......
She said yes! And the display started after a click of the button. We met with the couple after the fireworks and the client was delighted with how things went. He had put a lot of planning into his proposal and we were glad to play our part - we wish them all the best for the future.
Got a plan to surprise someone special with a Fireworks Display?
At Sonic Fireworks we are used to playing along with a secret plan! Hiding in bushes, searching for out of sight firing locations, pretending to be Moth collectors! (I kid you not!) Its all part of what we can do. Here's some advice you may find useful:
Tell us in advance! We love surprises but not ones that we can't plan for! So tell us what your plans are well in advance, who the surprise is for and who else knows the secret. We can then plan how to achieve it.
Location, location, location. Its important! Think about this in advance - if where we have to fire the fireworks is in full view of the venue and your guests they are going to work out whats going to happen - unless you can convince them that we are working for someone else!
Make sure that there is someone in the loop to liaise with us on the night - we need to know about any last minute changes and its difficult for us to wander about trying to find someone to help when we can't explain who we are!
